 Opvarmning til Worlds? Invitation til at deltage i UKWA Eastern Championship 2010. Lad jollen stå der ovre til Worlds. Simon fra Medway Yacht Club skriver bl.a. til Poul Ammentorp: "My reason for writing is because I am on the organizing committee for the above event on the Medway, which will take place just 5 weeks before the Worlds. Any minute now the NOR and entry forms for the events will appear on the club website [ www.medwayyachtclub.com ] with links to the UKWA site. In the meantime I send you a flysheet for the event. What we would particularly like to do is to welcome you and your fellow Scandinavians to the Medway, have you sail sail this event, and then LEAVE YOUR BOATS here before going on to the Worlds. There is the other UKWA event before the Worlds at Parkstone, The Western Champs. on the 26/27th June, and that club too is offering free parking before the worlds. So you could get to Weymouth in 3 stages and tune up in a lot of different English waters on the way! All of us at MYC hope this idea will appeal to SWS members and that we shall be welcoming many of you in June. With very kindest regards Simon"
