Fra Ralph Robert har jeg fået en anmodning om at finde en gast, som vil sejle med ham fra Esbjerg til Rantzausminde i sidste halvdel af juni og begyndelsen af juli 2010. Selvom han taler om at sejle solo fra Esbjerg til Rantzausminde, vil han helst have en gast med på turen. Til turen videre fra Rantzausminde har han fundet en gast.
Herunder et par klip af mailkorrespondance jeg har haft med Ralph.
Hi Jens Konge, I am having problems finding a crew for my proposed trips next year. If you know of any Danish cruisers who you think might be interested, I would be grateful if you would ask them for me. (I've also made this request to Poul). The Esbjerg - Rantz trip I would consider doing solo, as I am sure you would assist me with the logistics of managing the boat/car/trailer situation in Esbjerg, and I could obviously leave the boat safely at Rantz, whilst I went back to get the car and trailer. The proposed Swedish trip is more of a problem to do solo, because I wouldn't want to leave the fully kitted out boat anywhere, whilst I went off to retrieve the car and trailer, so I may need to leave this trip for another time if I am unable to find a crew.
Were you able to check the tides for me to confirm (or not!) that a date of around 11th June would give me the optimum amount of tide for my passage north from Esbjerg? I would obviously appreciate your local input on this. I trust you are keeping well now the winter is rapidly looming. I have already been down with a cold, but am now fully recovered, and back to my regular dancing evenings, which helps keep me fit! Best wishes, Ralph
I have got a copy of your mail to Poul, and I understand that your cruise will be: Esbjerg – Rantzausminde aprox. 11. june to 8. July (Rantzausminde is running from july 4. – 11.) Trelleborg – Stockholm aprox. mid july to mid sept.
